Our Story

Spave® was originally a product created out of the company Live, Give, Save, Inc.®, (LGS). It has now become the public-facing brand. LGS was incorporated February 1, 2016, out of the accelerator, Red Wing Ignite, in Red Wing, Minnesota. It was founded and is led by female entrepreneur and humanitarian Susan Langer. Spave is the first-of-its-kind social giving app with a unique focus on giving and inspiring social good.

Why Susan
Built Spave

On a mission to trip to East Africa, CEO Susan Langer witnessed the Tanzanian proverb "Little by little, a little becomes a lot" ring true as local women climbed out of poverty and repaid business loans at a staggering 99% rate through micro-payments. Inspired by the dedication and tenacity of these entrepreneurs, Susan crafted a consumer app that would empower everyone to make a tangible impact on their communities and personal finances.

2020

Participated in gBETA gener8tor accelerator

2021

Sold Spave 3.0 product to Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO)

2023

Reacquired Spave and relaunched the purposefully redesigned Spave app.
