1. Create a Spave Account
First things first – ensure you've completed the onboarding process. If you haven't already signed up, take a few moments to create your Spave account. This initial step is crucial for accessing all the features that Spave has to offer. 

2. Choose Your Goal
Once you're onboard, it's time to set your primary goal. Since your focus is on giving, select the appropriate option that aligns with your values and intentions. 

3. Select a Nonprofit
Spave offers a variety of nonprofits to choose from, over 1.5M, actually. Explore the options and select the cause that resonates with you the most. Your giving journey begins by supporting a cause that holds special meaning in your heart. 

4. Confirm Your Identity
Ensuring security and authenticity is paramount. Confirm your identity to guarantee a safe and secure giving experience on Spave. This is our Security Promise to you. 

5. Add Checking Account Through Plaid
To facilitate seamless transactions, link your checking account through Plaid. This step enhances the efficiency of your giving process, making it convenient for you to contribute to your chosen cause. 

6. Choose Your Method of Spaving
Spaving, a unique feature of Spave, allows you to save and give simultaneously. Choose the method of spaving that suits your financial preferences and aligns with your giving goals. 

7. Share Your Giving
Spread the joy of giving by sharing your contributions with your network. Spave makes it easy to showcase your philanthropic efforts, inspiring others to join the cause. 

8. Confirm Settings
Before finalizing, double-check and confirm that all your settings align with your giving goals. Ensure that your preferences are accurately reflected to guarantee a smooth and fulfilling giving experience. 

9. Verify Linked Accounts
Navigate to the linked accounts section and verify that everything is set up correctly. This step ensures your financial information is accurate, providing you with peace of mind. Be sure to also click on the piggy bank/savings icon to ensure that your minimum and maximum weekly limits are set.  

10. Explore Insights
Dive into the Insights tab of your Spave app. Check within 7 days to see new spavings come through. This feature allows you to track and visualize the impact of your giving, making the experience more rewarding.
